As we can see, many culturally bamboo bounded countries see future in its industrial aplications. China, India, Colombia, Ecuador. Their governments act, give suport, stimulate. United Nations give resources to projects involving bamboo technologies. countries with no native bamboos insist using the plant. United States of America, Canada, Germany, etc... There is associations and societys in many countries.

Brazil is a step behind of countries with less natural or technological resources. Our government can't see bamboo potentials. Brazil has great variety of species, a gigantic area with savage bamboos and area for more. We got artisans qualifyed for bamboo local use. We have master architects and engeneers that little by little insert bamboo in brazilian modern urban culture. We have teachers and doctors that study bamboo a whole life. We got enthusiasts that observe this conjuncture and act towards a socialization of knowledge. We got everything to start.

The creation of bamboo discussion group - bambu-brasil - and this site development is another little brick on main construction of a Brazilian Bamboo Society. All that want this to happen must unite and fight for a better and cleaner future.

We must take part in actings that render our governors, industrial, cultural and labor classes sensitive. In a multi-cultural society with common objectives these actings gain strengh, and make more noise.
